Batter Stabilisation – Woombye

The project required the repair and improvement to an existing bridge scour protection. The project maintained clean water flows and fish passage through NPG’s implementation of effective environmental controls. The works included:

• Erosion and Sediment Control
• Traffic Control
• Clearing and Grubbing
• Gabion Basket install
• Shotcrete repair
• Landscaping

The works were undertaken during the South East Queensland heavy rainfall in early 2022 without any damage sustained. NPG was able to complete all works without environmental incident during high rainfall events.
